Linda Costantini presented work coauthored with Francesco Barraco and Matteo Prussi at 2026’s European Biomass Conference & Exhibition.

Linda Costantini, our project member from the Polytechnic University of Turin and INsociety, spoke about the “SUN-PERFORM case study: influence of equipment building materials on Life Cycle Assessment outcomes” at the 2026 European Biomass Conference & Exhibition.

The work, coauthored with Francesco Barraco and Matteo Prussi from the Department of Energy Galileo Ferraris (DENERG), explored how different building materials and how they are used might affect the results a Life Cycle Assessment scenario.

Another great moment from the event was the Sustainable Aviation Fuels Roundtable. There, David Chiaramonti, a project member from the Polytechnic University of Turin and chairman of the CEM Biofuture Platform, participated in the “International Policy and Industry” session and moderated the panel discussion on “Effectiveness of National Policies, Mandates, Policy Targets or Market Dynamics”.

As part of the SUN-PERFORM consortium, the Polytechnic University of Turin is creating custom greenhouse gas calculation methods for case studies and will prepare informative materials for political and industrial leaders.
